Child Care

Oaks Plus Child Care is only for currently enrolled Oaks Academy students. All Oaks students may attend Before and After Care whenever it is offered. Families are only charged for the intervals they actually utilize in Before or After Care. All child care charges are billed at the end of each month.

Scholarship for all child care is based upon free and reduced lunch eligibility. Students eligible for free lunch receive approximately a 50% discount, and those eligible for reduced lunch receive about a 30% discount.

Oaks Plus Child Care Available:

	Before Care: Before Care is offered at both the Brookside and Fall Creek campuses from 7:00 am - 8:15 am on regular and early dismissal school days. During this time students receive unstructured play time on the playground, in the gym or in a classroom. They also have time and resources for studying or reading. All students who attend are offered a breakfast snack. Lower school Before Care is broken into two fee intervals; 7:00 - 7:45 am and 7:46 - 8:15 am. The fee for each interval is $5.66 for full pay students, $3.96 for reduced lunch eligible students and $2.72 for free lunch eligible students.
	After Care: After Care is offered at all three campuses until 6:00 pm on regular school days. Any students not picked up during dismissal and not registered in an after school activity are signed in to After Care. Students in After Care receive time for unstructured play on the playground, in the gym or in a classroom. Following the unstructured play time students are offered a snack. Then students in 1st - 8th grade receive time to work on their homework or read silently while pre-K and K students participate a read aloud and other activities. Additional activities are also provided for those students who stay until 6:00 pm. Lower school After Care is broken into three fee intervals; 3:31 - 4:00 pm, 4:01 - 5:00 pm and 5:01 - 6:00 pm. Middle school After Care is broken into two fee intervals; 4:01 - 5:00 pm and 5:01 - 6:00 pm. The fee for each interval is $5.66 for full pay students, $3.96 for reduced lunch eligible students and $2.72 for free lunch eligible students. There is a fee of $1 per minute after 6:00 pm.
	Half Day Care: On early dismissal days classes let out at noon. Upon the end of dismissal at 12:30 pm, all remaining students are signed in to Half Day Care which ends at 6:00 pm. Students staying need to bring their own lunch. No lunch service is offered at The Oaks Academy on early dismissal days. An afternoon snack is provided later in the day. Students eat lunch, have time for homework and unstructured play. They also participate in organized activities. Pre-K and K students take a nap after lunch and are allowed to bring a comfort item. Half Day Care is offered at a fee of $5.66/hour, $3.96/hour for reduced lunch eligible students and $2.72/hour for free lunch eligible students. There is a fee of $1 per minute after 6:00 pm.
	Full Day Care: On select weekdays during the school year when classes are not in session Oaks Plus offers Full Day Care from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. Full Day Care is offered at one campus for all Oaks students. Attending students need to bring their own lunch. No lunch service is offered at The Oaks Academy on days when class is not in session. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Students participate in organized activities and unstructured play. Pre-K and K students take a nap after lunch and are allowed to bring a comfort item. Advanced registration is required for full day care. There is a fee of $1 per minute after 5:30 pm.

Full Day Care Registration for 2019-20

Full Day Care registration for the 2019-20 school year is open. Log in to your Oaks Plus account to register for specific days of Full Day Care.

2019-20 Child Care Calendar

Before Care:

*Before care is offered at all three TOA campuses on all regular and early dismissal school days. It is offered at our Brookside and Fall Creek campuses from 7:00 - 8:15 am. It is offered at our Middle School campus from 7:00 - 7:45 am.

After Care:

*After care is offered at all three campuses on all regular school days. It is offered at our Brookside and Fall Creek campuses from 3:31 - 6:00 pm and at our Middle School from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

Half Day Care:

Half day care is offered at all three campuses on all early dismissal days. Half day care at our Brookside and Fall Creek campuses runs from 12:31 - 6:00 pm. At our Middle School, half day care runs from 12:45 - 6:00 pm.

Full Day Care:

Full day care is offered from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm for all Oaks students on the following days for the 2019-20 school year. From August - December 2019, all full day care will be held at our Fall Creek campus. From January - May 2020, all full day care will be held at our Brookside campus.

During parent-teacher conferences child care will only be offered at our Fall Creek and Brookside campuses only. All Oaks students are welcome to attend care at either campus these days.
