Oaks After 3 offers a variety of after school activities. Activities vary by year, season, grade level and campus. Most activities are lead by Oaks Academy faculty and staff. Activities are determined and directed by faculty and staff interest. Many have talents and passions they wish to share with students which do not fit into the curriculum of the regular school day.
Activities begin immediately after school. Lower school activities typically end at 4:00 pm and middle school activities at 4:30 pm but the end time does vary by activity. All activities schedules are posted on the Oaks Plus calendar. Most activities cost between $30 and $40 per season. Students eligible for free school lunch receive a 50% discount on registration fees and reduced lunch eligible students receive a 25% discount. Participants do receive a snack as part of the activity.
Activities are divided into fall, winter and spring seasons. Exceptions to these seasons are Math Counts and speech, which follow competitive seasons, and drama, which has fall and spring performances.
